Patient Safety

At Neo Clinic, patient safety is not just a protocol, it’s a promise. From the moment a child enters our care, every team member, system, and process is aligned to ensure zero compromise on safety.

We follow national and international pediatric safety standards to protect the well-being of every child and support their families through responsible, transparent care.

How We Prioritize Patient Safety

  • Strict Infection Control Protocols: All patient areas, NICU/PICU zones, and procedure rooms are regularly sanitized, monitored, and maintained as per NABH-accredited guidelines.
  • Safe Medication Practices: Pediatric dosages are double-verified. Medication histories are reviewed thoroughly to prevent allergic reactions or contraindications.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Our staff is trained in pediatric life support (PALS), and our ICU response teams operate 24x7 with established escalation protocols.
  • Secure Patient Identification: Each child is tagged and identified using barcode/wristband systems to prevent any procedural or treatment errors.
  • Safe Equipment & Monitoring: All neonatal and pediatric monitoring equipment is regularly serviced, calibrated, and audited to ensure high safety standards.
  • Fall and Injury Prevention: Bed rails, cot guards, and supervised care zones are standard, especially for infants and toddlers. Nursing protocols ensure attentive monitoring at all times.
  • Informed Consent & Family Engagement: We involve parents in every clinical decision. Consent is always taken with full explanation in the family’s preferred language.

Your Role in Safety

We believe safety is a shared responsibility. Here’s how you, as a parent or caregiver, can help:

  • Inform doctors of any allergies or prior treatments
  • Follow hygiene instructions during NICU/PICU visits
  • Ask questions if anything feels unclear
  • Report anything you feel is unsafe or unusual
  • Adhere to hand hygiene and restricted movement guidelines within sensitive care areas

Continuous Training & Improvement

At Neo Clinic, patient safety isn’t static it evolves. Our teams undergo regular training, simulations, and workshops to stay aligned with the latest in pediatric safety protocols.

We also actively monitor safety data, conduct internal audits, and welcome parental feedback to improve care quality every day.
